Education gives children the foundations they need to understand the world, continue learning, and shape their own future. At TIS, students build knowledge and skills across the essential subject areas in an environment that invites curiosity and participation.
Technology literacy belongs throughout that education. So do critical thinking and problem-solving: the ability to examine local and global situations, consider alternatives, and make thoughtful decisions.
Knowledge alone is not enough. Honesty, kindness, empathy, compassion, gratitude, diligence, and patience help young people understand themselves and others. Our aim is to educate students with Excellent Wisdom, a Moral Mind, and Perfect Deeds.
Our story
Built by educators, for learners.
Thai International School opened in Pathum Thani in August 2017. From the beginning, its direction was shaped by people who believed that a global education and respect for Thai culture belong side by side.

Three educators came together to found one of Pathum Thani’s early international schools, with every part of the learning experience considered from a child’s point of view.

Under the leadership of Dr. Jongrak Krainam, TIS developed a global learning environment that also honors Thai culture and manners.

The school celebrated its first graduating class in 2020—an early milestone in a story that continues with every TIS learner.
