Some ambitions need more room in the day. TIS Pathways gives students starting from Grade 1 the option of partial-day learning, with agreed early departures or late arrivals on selected days for specialist training.
Training may take place with an external coach, academy, or studio, or on campus at TIS where arrangements are available. Together, we can explore a schedule that connects academic learning with your child’s goals.

Who is the Pathways Program for?
The program is for students starting from Grade 1 who are pursuing specialist interests, including young people working toward professional careers in athletics, acting, performance, music, and other fields. Contact TIS to discuss your child’s goals and suitability.
Can my child leave early or arrive later?
Yes. The flexible model allows partial-day learning with early departures or late arrivals on selected days, according to arrangements agreed with TIS. Share your training schedule so the team can discuss the possibilities.
Does training have to happen at TIS?
Training can take place externally with a specialist provider. Some training may also take place on campus at TIS, depending on the area and available arrangements.
How will school learning fit around training?
The school will discuss academic learning alongside training commitments when exploring a pathway. The arrangement is individual: ask our team about the proposed school schedule, learning expectations, and any work outside classroom time.
